Exim India proudly presents BHP 2012, the second edition of the immensely
successful CARGO SHOP 2010 exposition and conference. The change in name has
been done to stress on the specialised focus of the event, which is on Break Bulk, Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding.
As with CARGO SHOP 2010, which attracted
nearly 4500 visitors, 400 delegates and over 80 exhibitors
from India and abroad, BHP 2012 will be an event to look forward to for
those in the sectors under focus, which play a key role in a country's
development. It is break bulk movement that facilitates vital aspects of growth
like infrastructure development and fulfils energy needs, to name just one.
Major industrial players use break bulk shipping and
project forwarding to transport their turnkey projects. Power plants,
petrochemical and water treatment installations, transformers, generators,
engines, cement plants, RTGs, yachts, pressure vessels, wind energy equipment,
cranes, heavy machinery, floating cargo and offshore equipment (oil and gas) all
form part of break bulk shipping, in addition to other cargoes such as steel
plates, coils, pipes, ingots and forest products.
BHP 2012 is thus the event for those of you in the
break bulk, project cargo and over dimensional cargo sector. With leading
speakers, top delegates and prominent companies from all over the world expected
to participate, it will provide both a national and global perspective on the
trends and issues in the sector and the direction it will take in the time to
come. And needless to say, the industry gathered under one roof will make for a
fabulous networking opportunity.
